We believe that school uniform is an important part of our community here at The Sky Academy because:
The support of parents is vital in maintaining this policy.
Uniform consists of:

On admission, all students will be provided with 1x polo shirt and 1x sweatshirt. Students and parents are responsible for the care and replacement of uniform. Uniform can be purchased through the school at a subsidised rate. Alternatively, uniform – without the logo – can be bought from any high-street store or supermarket.
At The Sky Academy, we are aware that some of our young people have sensory needs meaning that certain items of clothing can cause distress and discomfort. If this is the case, reasonable adjustments can be made. This will be through conversations with the young person’s keyworker. Uniform will still be expected to be within the academy colour scheme.
Uniform will be checked daily as part of tutor group registration by the keyworker. Students who are wearing uniform will be awarded bonus points to promote wearing it.
If a student continues to not comply with the uniform policy, further sanctions will be applied which may lead to parents / carers being asked to attend a meeting with the Senior Leadership Team.
